In Genesis 9, God makes a covenant with, not just Noah but, the animals. In Genesis 1, God asks mankind to rule over animal kind as Ambassadors in His image with goodness and love. In Romans 8, Paul says that ALL of creation groans under the weight of the corruption its been subjected to as it longs for the revealing of the sons of God.
