Captain Rick Leland, a U.S. Army Intelligence Officer, and his superior, General Rogers, are planning a trap for Dr. Lorenz, a spy employed by the Japanese Government. The other officers will have no knowledge of the plan. Unfortunately, the plan requires Captain Leland to be court-martialed. As a disgraced Coast Artillery Officer, Leland is able to book passage on a Japanese freighter carrying Dr. Lorenz to the Orient. With the ship underway, Dr. Lorenz offers money to Leland for vital information about troop placements, ammunition, and military installations.
