Episode 856 - Presidents Day

Everyone is "flying" into the studio today on this Presidents Day and everyone is hanging in there, with Gerri missing today, unable to beat the snow, with more on the way this afternoon, also having responsibilities to do.  Tony expresses what everyone is feeling about the snow, and that is: "here we go again," with it because more is expected to fall this afternoon, but is supposed to warm up later on in the week.  However, everyone is feeling ok today and Father Anthony shares with us a prayer with us all on the fact it's Presidents Day and historical background is shared for this day as well.  The discussion turns toward shopping and shopping malls, since Producer Nick spent Saturday with his parents and went shopping too, as well as fun coming up on the show with stores and shopping.  On the other hand, the discussion brought up on Valentines Day last week comes up again and Father Anthony asks not only Christina and Tony more on that, but also homosexuality.  Father Anthony shares a story about someone asking him a question regarding homosexuality and provides explanations and readings regarding this issue again to help explain views and teachings not only on this, but other subjects along the same lines and how they aren't negative.  As the show progresses, the show goes by fast with such a great discussion on this and "people are basically good" Father Anthony says in this with readings today.
