About Matt Katzer:
An accomplished leader in Microsoft cloud computing and cyber security for over 20 years, and a Microsoft Gold Partner, Matt has helped tens of thousands of businesses experience extraordinary growth while optimizing their efficiency across all technical platforms and guiding them on their journey to the Microsoft cloud. He’s a highly sought-after speaker and the author of five books on cloud computing and cyber security, including multiple #1 best-sellers. His books on Office 365 are widely considered the best sources on Microsoft cloud services.
A forerunner in the Microsoft cybersecurity space, Matt began developing security solutions in the early 1990s while working in the security division of Intel Corporation. He handled projects that ranged from working with General Electric on reactors to working on projects for Redstone Arsenal military base, the Department of Defense, Department of Justice, and NASA, to handling the security side of IT for the National Security Agency (NSA).
Matt is part of the Microsoft Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Acceleration Program run by the Aerospace Division of Microsoft. As one of the first to collaborate with Microsoft on cloud solutions and one of only a few partners granted the right to sell GCC High (Government Community Cloud) licenses. He is a Certified CMMC Professional (CCP) and his company was the first CMMC Registered Practitioner Organization (RFO) in Oregon.
Matt has received numerous awards for his technology developments, including more than 20 different Microsoft Partner awards recognizing outstanding successes and innovations. He’s been listed on the Inc. 5000 list for five years in a row and made the Portland Oregon Business Journal’s “Best Of” and “Fastest Growing” lists 2 years in a row. He holds 17 patents for software he’s developed.
He is active in local business communities and holds a BSEE from the University of Michigan and an Executive MBA from the University of Oregon.
