140 Free Interrail Travel Passes Available for Irish 18 Year Olds from Today - Hayes

140 free Interrail tickets have been made available to Irish 18-year-olds, under a new EU scheme to encourage young people to travel across Europe. 

It is open to any 18-year-old to apply for one of the tickets under the "Discover EU" project. 

15,000 tickets are being provided across Europe to facilitate travel over the summer months. 

Fine Gael MEP for Dublin Brian Hayes is hopeful more tickets could become available in Ireland depending on demand for the scheme in other countries:
