TGIF everyone and it seems that this week seems to have flown by, (perhaps due to the Memorial Day Holiday) but a busy morning again today, with not only confessions this morning from the children, but also tonight is the graduation for the students tonight too, leading to preparations for the ceremony coming up, as well as the Carnival getting ready next week and wedding season it seems. Father Anthony expresses everyone to pray for Paula O'Connor who is going through major surgery today, with Christina sharing a story of how powerful prayer is in these matters. A major topic of discussion is the idea of summer, not only the season, but also why kids get "summer vacation" here, some historical references are brought up, as well as the weather for summer, heat in particular. After the first break, the news turns to events taking place around the world, leading once again to discuss where we are going in terms of the signs of the times and/or what has been happening causing so much grief and despair, in particular the most recent involving a woman in Sudan. On another note, is other things in other countries discussed on this, relating to the discussion on the differences between there and the United States, living in a time of crisis and community. With all this in mind, it brings to mind our relationship with God, as well as connection and His Love.
