Are you a Fully Knowable Object or Colonizing Agent (or both)? Pinker and CS Lewis

Pageau illustrates Pinker's reduction of human complexity, but the problems go deep with Naturalism. We can imagine two groups. Group A of things that "go on their own" and Group B of Colonizing Agents who move objects in group A. How are these two groups related? Are they one group or two? Does Group B exist? We all act like there are two groups and we are in the second.
