Market Close 25 Mar 22: ASX 200 near 10-week high

The Australian sharemarket edged higher by 0.26% on Friday, lifting for a fourth day and hitting a near 10-week high in the process. Mining stocks drove the gains today and all week, particularly BHP Group (BHP) which rose by 8% in five days. BHP makes up around 9% of the Australian sharemarket by market capitalisation.
