- Marie and Mike both admire director Ang Lee, but were underwhelmed by his latest, "Gemini Man," in which Will Smith plays a retired sniper who will have to pick up his gun again. Although this thriller has enough chases and explosions to keep you watching, there are a couple of technology-related issues that are more likely to spark discussion: the high frame rate at which the picture was shot makes for a hyper-sharp image and slows down the action a tad; and a de-aging process allows Smith to play the 51-year-old sniper and also a younger version of him. Marie and Mike also get all tech nerdie while discussing "Jexi," in which Adam Devine plays a San Francisco journalist whose new smart phone has a mind of its own and a vocabulary much ruder than anything heard in "Her."
