Market Close 17 Sep 21: Aussie shares slump on Friday to finish flat this week

The Australian sharemarket fell by 0.7% on Friday, wiping out this week's improvements. Slumping iron ore miners weighed most heavily today with Fortescue hitting a 12-month low.
