Morning Report 21 June 19: Wall St rallies on as S&P500 hits record high

US sharemarkets rose on Thursday with the broader S&P 500 index at all-time highs. Investors anticipated lower interest rates in coming months. The energy sector also gained 2.2% in response to higher oil prices. The Dow Jones rose by 249 points or 0.9% and the Nasdaq climbed 61 points or 0.8%.
