Market Close 8 Oct 21: Aussie shares snap 4-week losing streak

The Australian sharemarket rose for a second day, with the ASX 200 lifting by 0.9%. All sectors improved with iron ore miners and tech stocks standing out. The market snapped a four-week losing streak.
