Episode # 1091 - Was 2014 A Good Year?

On this Tuesday, the gang is all here, including all three Producers: Nick, Armand, and Oscar.  Father Anthony is once again joined by Christina, Gerri, and Tony on the 6th Day of Christmas, that is the Christmas Season even though Christmas has passed.  Excitement is in the air with the approach of the New Year, 2015 and as Producer Nick shares, the events of Back to the Future 2 haven't really happened yet.  Also, Father Anthony asks everyone if 2014 was a good year for everyone, with Gerri, Tony, and Christina replying on how 2014 went for them, some great, some not so great responses, some personal, some National, some Worldly responses as well.  Producer Nick also voices in on how he's been with the show for about 3 years, while it being a good year, with rough spots here and there, along with Father Anthony sharing the same feeling.  Even Armand and Oscar chime in this discussion for a bit.  After the first break, the discussion takes a more serious turn with was 2014 a good year for the World and the answers leads to a possible no with all the negative things happening all over the world.  Some of the topics shared (and been discussed on the show), include the various shootings, the Holocaust in the Middle East with Christian be-headings, the Ebola Outbreak, ISIS, and various other things..  Gerri also points out how with her, she dealt with World War 2 and points out how similar this past year has been to her experiences in her life.  However, Father Anthony shares how we are saying goodbye to what some have said is a good year in terms of the world being safe and secure, despite things happening, as well as with the current things how things have changed with War and the tragedies in mind here.  Not only is the idea of war discussed, but also the changes in poverty, life expectancy, the drop in disease and obesity and other positive things that have lowered or gone down in terms of being top problems.  With all this positive energy, Father Anthony apologizes to everyone in studio if he has been hard on his co hosts for the show.  More interesting things are shared as the show goes on, some that may lift an eyebrow.  Towards the end, the idea of Freedom is brought up along the lines of 2014 being a good or bad year, but not in terms of laws, nations, or God, but in ways people take out their stress or deal with their personal stress in ways or have freedom to choose things or choose to do things that lead to more trouble and bad.
