Mid-Session 15 Apr 20: ASX 200 consolidates following recent gains

Local shares retreated on Wednesday after the ASX 200 rallied by more than 5% over the course of recent days. Oil names fell after oil prices slumped by 10% overnight – while there was a record fall in consumer sentiment in April.
