’Bad Batch’ and ’Dark Forces’: Troop experimentation for galactic gain

For the 185th episode of the WhoDatJedi podcast, your hosts -- Aaron Svoboda (@Aaron_Svoboda), Alfredo Narvaez (@NOLA_Fredo) and Dave Gladow (@davegladow) -- react to the trailer drop for "The Bad Batch" Season 3, offering their theories on what might be in store for viewers during the show's final run. They then take on their main topic of the day as they discuss the 1995 video game "Dark Forces," which is set to be remastered and re-released Feb. 28. Dave had a recent playthrough of the nearly 30-year old game, and he had lots of reactions, including how important the game is in a historical context in relation to other video games, how well it holds up today (a very mixed bag), but also how impactful it continues to be in Star Wars lore in relation to its Dark Troopers and horror elements. This week is all about soldier experimentation, baby!
