Wicklow secures big European political meeting

It’s been revealed today that the European Parliament’s biggest political group will hold one of its major annual meetings in Wicklow. The Fine Gael MEP Sean Kelly confirmed that the European People’s Party, which Fine Gael is a member of, will host the party’s bureau meeting in Wicklow in May. The Ireland South MEP says it’s likely the meeting will take place in the Druid’s Glen and that it will happen at a pivotal time in European politics.
