Feb 3 2021 My Greatest Failure

Our standard is not American justice and freedom. It is Christian love. The moment we make justice our highest goal, we have moved away from the love necessary to accomplish justice. Jesus told us to love our enemies and bless those who persecute us. If we do not, how can we except any idea that we are any better than they are? Freedom in Christ is not freedom from injustice. It is freedom from the bitterness that injustice would create within us.
