Speaking the Truth in Love

Do you struggle with having conflict in your life? Do you shy away from necessary conversations because you can't bring yourself to speak out? I know how you feel friend, I've been there many times. God is pressing upon my heart the idea of using conflict as a tool to strengthen the relationship. God is with us in those moments and He never leaves us to do it alone. I pray that today's message encourages you to step forward in faith as you have those conflicts.

Questions to ask before going into a conflict:

1. What is the most loving thing I can do in this situation? Speak up or look past the offense?

2. What pain or damage is their behavior causing, and can my words shed light on this?

3. Am I people-pleasing, or peace-making?

4. Will I care about this tomorrow, in a few days or years to come? Is this a hill I want to die on? 

5. Is God calling me to speak up about this and let this person know the hurt they are causing me and others?
