Market Close 5 Mar 19: Aussie shares snap 4-day winning streak

The Australian sharemarket eased for the first time in five days while remaining near five month highs. Mining stocks weighed on trade while a recovery from the major banks helped lift equities from intraday lows. The Reserve Bank kept rates on hold for a 31st straight month.
