Mid-Session 24 Jul 20: ASX 200 retreats, neutralising weekly gains

The ASX 200 is down by 1% at lunchtime following losses on Wall St and sellers gaining strength from a range of company updates that have reminded investors of the continuing impact of the Covid 19 crisis.
