Tracey Malesa-Wheaton sits down with Kylee Bassett-Hope from the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation Services to discuss their new initiative to try and get as many students as possible with special needs identified for VR services prior to transition age. Discussed is how to make a referral, who is appropriate for a referral and what can be expected during the process of determining eligibility. Also discussed are the types of options available to those students with respect to further education, training, job seeking and job retention services.
