Ep 19 Marriage is a Marathon, Part II

I had a blast interviewing my darling nieces who married into Mark's family. They are young and wise and committed to their marriage. Maybe that's the key to staying in the race: commitment to God and marriage. The word perseverance isn't my favorite word, but a good marriage takes perseverance as well as trust that God is doing a good work - in you and in your spouse.

I love Paul's take on that in Philippians 1:6 - "And I am sure of this, that He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ." Sounds like God is in the business of completing a marathon.
