We tend to associate Easter with brightness: warm spring sunshine, pastel outfits, colorful flowers, etc. But one of the eyewitnesses reminds us that the original Easter didn’t happen while things were bright. In fact, Easter happened while it was dark. Very dark. So in today’s sermon, we’ll learn what that shows us about God and we’ll discover the unshakeable hope we can find through any darkness we face.
