Equipping the Saints to Testify - 1 Corinthians

Pastor Warren Harvey teaches on 1 Corinthians 1:1-9. The letter of 1st Corinthians is written to a church suffering some significant problems. Some were the growing pains of a young body of believers seeking to grow in grace. Other were self-inflicted injuries that were hampering the health and threatening the testimony of the body of Christ. Paul writes to them with both pointed diagnosis of the issues as well as prescribed gospel remedies. But before he does, he reminds them of who they are and whose they are as saints called and united together by God in Christ Jesus. To be equipped to grow in and testify to Christ, we must first understand and embrace the corporate nature of our calling as saints together in the body of Christ.
