Mid-Session 8 Jan 20: Local shares follow global share lower on news of Iranian retaliation

Local shares have retreated in early trade on Wednesday in response to news that the Iranian military had fired several missiles at Iraqi army bases housing US troops. The strikes are retaliation for a US drone strike that killed a leading Iranian military general last Friday.
