Should a child be taken to prison to see a parent?

On Tuesday night's show Niall Boylan had an interesting debate with callers over a listeners email. The listener's grand daughter's father is in prison and thinks visiting him should never be an option. Other's disagreed saying you cannot deprive a child of their parent. Where do you stand on this issue?
