Chloe Skye joins Sara for a long overdue check-in on all the exciting girl power moments of the moment including the fun-loving and *actually highly successful* film THE MARVELS. Despite what the box office magazine reports are saying, this movie is kicking the butts (in box office returns AND hearts) of other movies released around the same time INCLUDING Scorsese's Killers of the Flower Moon AND Ridley Scott's Napolean. Both of THOSE films are being lauded as successes, so why is The Marvels being called a failure? Sara & Chloe have some theories.
Also, why the F*CK is COP28 being held in the UAE, and led by the head of a major oil company? Greta called it years ago: It's all blah blah blah.
And finally a quick toast to two MAJOR leading ladies in US history who've recently passed - the first female justice of the Supreme Court Sandra Day O'Connor, and former First Lady Rosalynn Carter; Both incredible women who fought hard to carve their own legacies at a time in history when women generally weren't allowed to wield any kind of influence over the state of the world - and YET... they persisted!
