Here is a simple practice to learn how to become more patient.
1) Sit with a cellphone, food item, or piece of mail in front of you that you want to grab, open, eat, and/or read.
2) Take 1 to 3 deep breaths in and out.
3) Allow a sense of calm to start to come over you before interacting with the item in front of you.
4) When a sense of peace comes over you now slowly interact with the item in front of you. How long did it take for you to feel calm?
