Distributed Team:
- Use a list of Names to manage Daily Scrum
- Use Slack (www.slack.com) or other communication tool, so people commit to the team themselves and not via proxy on what they did, going to get Done (micro-commitment) and blockers
Short Work Week Calendar
- There is Indian Independence Day on August 15th which is a Thursday
- have the teams record on a makeshift calendar with just morning/afternoon as time slots and record their tasks
Bonus Idea:
For teams having hours and tasking issues have them take the task list they created and put it on a calendar, so they can visually see their commitment and estimate. Do it with those teams that are having tasking troubles.
