East Clare Memorial Committee Wreath laying ceremony Scariff Church

East Clare Memorial Committee organised a private  wreath laying ceremony at the grave of the Scariff Martyrs in the grounds of Scariff Church on the 15th of November 2020. in honour of Alphie Rodgers, Michael 'Brud' McMahon, Martin Gildea and Michael Egan. The event is one of a number to mark the 100th anniversary of the events in East Clare that led to the four men being shot on the bridge in Killaloe on the 16th of November 1920
