Advent: A Season for Simplicity

A homily for the Second Sunday of Advent (Year B), by Father Darrin Connall: John the Baptist is a reminder of simplicity. During Advent we do well to see the difference between our wants, which leave us anxious and wanting more, and our needs, which leave us content and at peace. Our needs are ultimately satisfied by our relationship with Christ.
