Laura Sheble is a computational social scientist, a faculty member at the School of Information Sciences at Wayne State University, and Visiting Research Fellow at SSRI/DNAC. An Asst. Prof at WSU, Sheble is here to talk about two interesting historical examples that can provide context for our current moment. This is another installment in our ongoing series on Information Literacy. Sheble joined us in 2018 for an in-person panel discussion on this subject. She recently co-edited the book Misinformation and Mass Audiences--which is available to circulate from the Ferndale Library's collection.
