Episode # 980 - TGIF And Prayers For Peace

TGIF everyone and everyone is feeling good today with the Friday Feeling in the air, in terms of much going on and much to look forward too.  For one thing, those of our loyal listeners who are teachers have a lot to get ready for with Labor Day weekend coming up and a long weekend to relax.  Also, Father Anthony shares with everyone how today, he had a family this morning, with a woman in the family who hadn't been baptized until today and bringing good feelings with everyone.  He also points out that the Prayers For Peace In Iraq Masses will be held today, one service at 5 and then another at 7 tonight, encouraging everyone to come and offer their prayers to those who are suffering and being killed in Iraq.  Speaking of that, Father Anthony continues that discussion, bringing up many tragic events and memories, including shootings done by those who claim to have done it in for the love or in the name of God.  Also, everyone is getting ready for Fall, especially Producer Nick and talks about how August and Summer is ending.  The talk of terrorist attacks continues on this as well, bringing up the fact we all are in a battle, with the struggle between good and evil going on, with Christina and Tony saying how they feel.
