In Genesis 9, Noah responds to God's salvation with a grateful sacrifice. God receives it and makes a lasting promise never to judge the earth in the same way again, symbolized by the rainbow—a sign that also appears around God's throne in Revelation. God graciously assures His people through covenants, revealing His commitment to preserve and redeem humanity

The covenant with Noah both sets and continues the pattern for how God deals with mankind. Noah’s family is called to steward the earth, multiply, and honour human life as God's image-bearers. God Himself defines the terms, blessings, and signs, showing His deep love and desire to dwell with His people..

In this sermon, Pastor Adeola reminds us that God still calls us to value every human life. We must guard our hearts against bitterness, hatred, tribalism, and classism, among other ills, and instead honour the image of God in all people. Therefore, we must pray for sensitivity, teach the worth of life, stand for justice, protect the vulnerable, and share the gospel—all in faith, love, and obedience to God.
