Our Responses to Homelessness in 2019

A homily for the fifteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time (Year C), by Father Darrin Connall: The Parable of the Good Samaritan contains challenging teaching on the Christian duty to show mercy to our neighbors in need. This parable can help us understand a significant shift in the way the cathedral will continue to serve our homeless neighbors victimized by contemporary “robbers,” such as Addiction, Mental Illness, and Exploitation.
