Ways we can be misled into thinking we have assurance of salvation:
1. I said the sinner’s prayer (Acts 20:21)
2. I’m convicted when I sin (2 Cor. 7:10)
3. I feel close to God
4. I pray, read the Bible, and go to church (Mat. 7:22-23)
5. God is blessing my life (Mat. 5:45)
6. I know Jesus died and rose again (James 2:19)
