Statistics show that in our lifetime, we will experience about 100 different kinds of fears. Fears of height, cats, dentist, pain, death and even more recently, the fear of viruses. Fear has become a very much part of our lives so much so that sometimes our choices and decisions we make in life are due to the fears we encounter.

 

Fears at times stop us from believing what God wants to give or bless us with. It stops us from trusting in His leading and thus taking the "safe" road which does not lead us to abundance and grace. Fear at times prevents us from coming to God boldly and into His throne of Grace. We do not take much from God because we fear of His wrath which already fell on Jesus in our place. God is no longer angry with us but loves us deeply and longs for us to draw near to Him.

 

Because fear stands in our way, we receive little. Don't let fear rule in our lives. The Bible mentions "Fear Not" 365 times for us. Which means, we can claim a "Fear Not" everyday of our lives every year! How can we "Fear Not" everyday of lives?
