Part 1 - Neville James hosts the Leadership of the Virgin Islands Department of Education as students begin to return to in-person learning (24:31). Assistant Commissioner Victor Somme III, Superintendent Carlos McGregor of the St. Croix district, and Superintendent Dr. Stefan Jürgen of the St. Thomas-St. John district share many of the new safety protocols, testing strategies, and vaccination efforts that will be implemented when Pre K-3rd graders, Special Education self-contained classes, and Career & Technical Education students enrolled in a specific career pathway return to schools on Tuesday, September 7.
