KPPF Community Popwer Break - Meet Jamil Cooks

Jamil Cooks is site director in Colorado Springs for Community Works.  His organization lifts people out of the criminal justice system and into new lives.  Next door is a barbershop.  A traditional community hub.  Inside are barbers who are trained social workers.  Alongside are Barbershop Books.  A program of the the Rampart Range Rotary Club.  Young children are free to pick out and read books while they wait for their grownups.  Listen now to learn how it's all connected.
