Molly Cano is the Tourism Manager for the City of San Luis Obispo, which means she has to communicate constantly about what makes SLO a wonderful — and wonderfully delicious — place. Whether residents realize it or not, the desirability of SLO is closely linked to its success as a tourist destination. The accommodations and food service industry is the third-largest economic driver in the city. Second-largest is retail, which is arguably part of tourism, too.
