Mid-Session 30 Mar 22: Longest winning streak since December 2020

The Australian sharemarket is lifting by 0.7% at lunch, extending its winning streak to a seventh day and remaining on track to have its best month since November 2020. A big spend pre-election Federal Budget was handed down last night, there were reports of progress being made in Ukraine-Russia peace talks and the bond market sell-off continued to receive attention.
