The language relating to the Irish backstop in Brexit talks might require some alteration in order to secure a Withdrawal Agreement.
That’s according to Dublin MEP Brian Hayes.
He was speaking after meeting British Cabinet Minister David Lidington in Strasbourg earlier.
Talks have intensified in recent weeks between EU and UK negotiators as the deadline approaches to strike a Brexit deal.
