Walking Through the Epistles | 7. Law and Faith Contrasted

Galatians 3:15-29 Here are the concluding thoughts of the sermon.
1. The promise God gave to Abraham 430 years before the law was given, was received by faith and fulfilled in Christ.
2. Law was given to mirror man's iniquity, to protect the coming of the seed and to lead one to Christ as a tutor. ----more----
3. Followers of the law could be made as servants of God, but law could never make anyone son or daughter of God. Only faith in Christ could.
4. Law could only make division, but faith in Christ Jesus breaks the division, sets us free and makes us one in Christ.
