AM Report 24 Aug 18: US trade concerns. Aussie dollar hit again

US sharemarkets were lower on Thursday as traders digested the latest news on the US-China trade dispute. Investors also monitored news from the central bankers conference at Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Shares in trade-sensitive industrial company, Caterpillar, fell by 1.8% and Boeing fell by 0.5%. The Nasdaq dipped into the red in late trade. The Dow Jones index closed down by almost 77 points or 0.3% after being down by 125 points earlier. The S&P 500 index fell by 0.2% and the Nasdaq fell by almost 11 points
