Spotting the walking wounded isn’t as easy as it sounds, nor is it easy to see our own wounds that might be keeping us from opening our hearts to love.
All too often we bury, ignore and deny our wounds but that doesn’t prevent us from acting from them until they are healed. Acting from wounds separates us from connection, from creation, and from expansion. It also blurs our vision of ourselves and creates stories that don’t serve us and in-fact keep us wounded and in pain.
Healing our wounds is an act of self-love. And to heal, we must first see the wounds with eyes of love and compassion. When we don’t run away from our wounds, when we can embrace them in love, we have the power to heal them.
