Boylan unimpressed with Macron’s silence on gender equality

French President Emmanuel Macron presided over a debate on the future of Europe today at the European Parliament in Strasbourg, taking question from MEPs about what future policy priorities should be. But Lynn Boylan, Sinn Fein MEP representing Dublin, said she was dissapointed that Macron said nothing about gender equality in his opening speech, given the high visability of the issue currently.
