Selective Mutism: The Parent’s Perspective

This episode focuses on the childhood social anxiety disorder called selective mutism, from a parent's perspective. I interview two special guests, Anne Ramallo and Pam Drake, who are both mothers of daughters who have or have had selective mutism. They talk about the ups and downs in their separate SM journeys and share what's worked for them in dealing with the challenges it can bring.
