Al Bassler

Welcome to "Reflections on Life".  In this episode Liz interviews Al Bassler who was born and lived on the land now occupied by Howard Community College and Howard County General Hospital.  Al recounts what life was like for him as a young boy living and working on a farm of more than 100 acres.  He also sheds light on the skilled and conscientious manner in which Jim Rouse went about buying up the land on which he built the New Town of Columbia, Maryland.
