Mid-Session 5 Apr 19: Aussie shares slide for second day

The Australian sharemarket is in the red for a second day while remaining close to six-month highs hit on Wednesday. China’s vice premier this morning said new consensus has been reached on the US-China’s trade agreement text. The news pushed the Australian dollar higher.
