E35: The Fires of Pompeii & Conquering

Can't talk about Romans without talking about conquest so that's what we're leaning into this episode as we watch the Fires of Pompeii. In this ep, the Doctor tries taking Donna to ancient Rome for her first trip in the TARDIS, but instead they find themselves in Pompeii in 79 AD, on the eve of the catastrophic eruption of Mount Vesuvius, and we ask ourselves what it takes to conquer fear and thought.
